I have been a passionate, crazy dog ​​lover since my early childhood!

My passion for dogs, food and nature are the founding pillars of Pattedeau Bio.

Honestly, I believe all dog parents do their best to ensure their dog's good health with the information available to them, but unfortunately, it's not always enough. I founded Pattedeau Bio to offer customized training and consultations tailored to your dog (not your neighbour's!).

I love science (I have a master's degree in agronomy), but I also believe that nature holds many secrets we've forgotten. And it's with great pleasure that I share my expertise in animal nutrition from the last 25 years.

If I'm not advising or training you on the right diet, dietary supplements for dogs and canine probiotics, I'm walking in the countryside on Île d'Orléans with my 3 daughters: Lou, Émie and Moon.

The medal of agronomic distinction is awarded to Ms. Karine Simard

Few agronomists are involved in the pet industry in Quebec. Karine Simard, an agronomist with a master's degree in animal science, has been working in this field full-time for the past five years with her company Pattedeau Bio, which she founded in 2016.

Ms. Simard's work with her company has not only made this facet of the agricultural profession more visible, but has also highlighted, particularly to veterinarians and other clinical practitioners, the importance of this expertise in the care provided to our pets.

If, today, this niche is booming and the demand for pet food advice from pet owners is constantly increasing, Ms. Simard certainly has something to do with it.

I have a bachelor's degree in agronomy and a master's degree in animal nutrition.

I have been practicing as an agronomist since 2000, and I have extensive experience in animal nutrition as well as in the canine field.

My professional experiences include:

  • Formulator for commercial pet food companies (kibble and raw).

  • Coach and trainer of animal nutrition consultants.

  • Strategic advisor and trainer in animal production.

  • Internationally renowned dog breeder and participant in high-level dog competitions in several disciplines (agility, obedience, rally-obedience, conformation).

  • Retail sale of raw dog food.
    Consultant-expert in canine nutrition for specific cases (health, dog immunity, canine vitamins, probiotics for dogs, joint supplements, and allergy medecine, etc.).
  • Founder and owner of the company Pattedeau Bio.
  • Pet Nutrition training course, University of Colorado, 2021.
