How do I know if my dog needs supplements?
If your dog shows signs of slowing down, inflammation, digestive issues, or other health issues, supplements may be beneficial.
It’s important to consult a veterinarian first for an accurate diagnosis and personalized recommendations.
If your dog is in perfect health, the trio of Omega 3 - Seal oil, Green Lipped Mussel and Curcuplex can also be given every day for maximum prevention.
How do I introduce a new supplement into my dog or cat's diet?
Introducing a new supplement into your dog's diet can usually be done directly at the full recommended dose from day one. This applies to our supplements such as Omega 3 - Seal oil, Curcuplex, and Green Lipped Mussel. However, we recognize that every dog is unique and some may have a more sensitive digestive system than others.
For sensitive dogs, we recommend a more gradual approach. Start by giving half the recommended dose for the first 7 days. This adjustment period allows your dog's digestive system to get used to the new supplement. After this introductory week, you can gradually increase to the full dose.
It’s important to observe your dog during the introduction of any new supplement to detect any unusual reactions. If you have any doubts, or if your dog shows signs of discomfort, it’s advisable to discontinue use of the supplement and consult a veterinarian.
For personalized advice on introducing supplements into your dog's diet and adjusting dosages to suit your pet's specific needs, please don’t hesitate to contact us to benefit from our consultation service.
